A Level Results 2018
Congratulations to all our students on their remarkable successes in their A Level examinations.
28% of grades were A* or A, with 58% A*, A or B and 86% A*, A, B or C, making 2018’s results our best for the past five years.
As a result of their commitment and hard work, as well as the dedicated support of their teachers, parents and families, our students are able to go on to the next phase of their learning, training or employment with confidence and optimism.
The vast majority of students achieved their planned destination. They take with them our very best wishes for future happiness, success and fulfilment.
The A Level Performance System (ALPS) analysis of our students’ performance in relation to schools across the country is expressed as a T Score grade 2, ‘Outstanding’.
A more detailed breakdown will be available shortly.
Year 13 Leaver Destinations 2018
We are delighted that 98% of our Year 13 leavers achieved their planned destination. You can click here to see their many exciting destinations, at university, on an apprenticeship or traineeship, a Gap Year or into employment.
76% of our students were accepted into university, with 92% achieving their first choice of university and course. With the rise in university tuition fees, an increasing number of students are opting for the apprenticeship, traineeship or employment routes, and in recent years, our students have been successful in their applications to companies like Nielsen, BAE Systems, Ted Baker, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Ralph Lauren, and Abbey Precision Engineering.
A growing number of students are also taking Gap Years, with students volunteering around the globe, including Brazil, Israel and Thailand. Some are working and travelling, while others are gaining valuable work experience and internships.
We wish all our Year 13 leavers a successful and happy future.
